Print this page and keep it by the computer. You are a Manager: you run the site day to day. You can do everything an Editor can, and more.

You cannot manage the Domain, close the site, or touch an Owner.
Publishing the menu Link to this section: Publishing the menu
Menu: arrange items, then Save draft, then Publish. Visitors see nothing until you publish. Until the first publish, the menu is whatever pages are marked Show in the menu.

Add a heading with Add heading. On each page that belongs in it, press More, choose Put under... and pick the heading. Two levels at most.
Changing the look safely Link to this section: Changing the look safely
- Look and feel shows a preview before you save. It goes live the moment you press Save look and feel.
- Templates: apply, then Roll back if you do not like it. Your pages, pictures, colors and logo stay yours.
- Custom CSS: Save draft, then Publish. If the site looks wrong, press Turn custom CSS off. Nothing is deleted.
Inviting a volunteer Link to this section: Inviting a volunteer
- Members, then Invite someone.
- Type their email and choose Editor (best for most people).
- Press Send invitation. The link works for 7 days.

Members, then Remove. They lose access at once.
Redirects Link to this section: Redirects
When a page moves, add a redirect from the old address to the new one. Use Test it to check. Choose 301, moved for good.
Videos need captions Link to this section: Videos need captions
The checklist warns when a hosted video has none; you can still publish. On Videos, press Add captions with a .vtt file. If there is no speech, tick This video has no speech to caption on the block.

Open the Checklist tab and press Show me. For an embed that is not on the list, press Allow this host, but only for a site you trust.
History for everything Link to this section: History for everything
Pages, shared blocks, the menu, the sidebar and custom CSS keep every version. Use Restore, then publish. Staff, events, missionaries and blog posts do not keep versions.
